I' be been reading "Coders at Work" - the interview with Jamie Zawinsky, so far. He says: "[Computer programming] feels like you're writing a story and you trying to express a concept to a very dumb person - the computer - who has a limited vocabulary."
Now this got me thinking: when you write for computer, you actually write for it and for yourself and may be other programmers. So you have to write in a way that would please both 'limited vocabulary' person and some sophisticated people as well. Who was famous for writing like this? Why, Dr. Zeus, the famous programmer!
